Quest Software Partner Since 2005

LeadThem Consulting has partnered with Quest Software since 2005 as our singular migration tooling partner. That is a deliberate choice: build deep expertise in one vendor's platform rather than spread thin across a catalog of tools. Every migration LeadThem delivers runs on Quest software, and every consultant who touches a client project carries Quest Certified training.

In April 2026 Quest unified its identity and migration portfolio under the Quest Security Management Platform, organized into two solutions: Quest Secure Migration for moving identities, devices, tenants, and workloads, and Quest Identity Security and Resilience for identity threat detection and recovery. LeadThem delivers across both.

Why a single-vendor partnership matters

Most IT consulting firms maintain broad vendor relationships, which means their engineers work with each platform at a surface level and rotate tools depending on what the contract calls for. LeadThem made a different choice in 2005 and has not changed it: go deep on Quest, train every resource to Quest's own standard, and build direct relationships with Quest's product engineering team.

In practice, that depth shows up as faster issue resolution when a migration hits an edge case, engineers who recognize dependency problems before they reach the cutover window, and access to pre-release builds for testing against client environments before a product version ships publicly.

What the partnership includes for your project

All of our resources are Quest Certified. When your migration runs on Quest On Demand Migration (ODM), Migrator Pro for Active Directory, or Migrator for Notes to Exchange, the engineers managing it have been trained and assessed by Quest on that specific product. LeadThem's long-standing relationship with Quest also provides a direct escalation path to Quest product engineering for issues that fall outside standard support coverage.

The Quest tools LeadThem delivers

Under Quest Secure Migration:

Quest On Demand Migration (ODM) is the primary platform for Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations, handling Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Entra ID in a single coordinated workflow. ODM preserves security posture through migration: multi-factor authentication settings, Conditional Access policies, sensitivity labels, and retention policies all carry through to the destination tenant.

Quest Migrator Pro for Active Directory handles cross-forest Active Directory migrations, domain consolidations, and on-premises AD restructuring. For migrations that include a move to Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), ODM's device migration module coordinates alongside Migrator Pro to handle device re-registration without reimaging.

Quest Migrator for Notes to Exchange moves mailboxes, calendars, contacts, and journals from IBM and HCL Notes and Domino environments to Exchange Online with full fidelity. This is a specialist engagement that requires engineers who understand Notes' data model at a depth that generic migration tooling does not provide.

Under Quest Identity Security and Resilience:

Quest Identity Recovery is the hybrid Active Directory and Entra ID recovery solution, including Standby AD Forest provisioning for always-ready recovery environments. LeadThem operates Identity Recovery for clients who need defensible recovery posture against ransomware and identity-layer outages.

Quest Identity Defense (formerly Security Guardian) is the AI-powered hybrid AD and Entra ID security solution that identifies identity risk, blocks unauthorized changes to Tier 0 assets, and contains attacks before they spread. LeadThem deploys and operates Identity Defense as part of ongoing identity protection engagements.

Quest Recovery Manager for Active Directory remains Quest's on-premises AD object-level and forest recovery tool. LeadThem still implements Recovery Manager for on-premises-anchored environments, alongside Identity Recovery for hybrid scenarios.

Quest and Microsoft: the two platforms that matter

LeadThem's ecosystem centers on two relationships: Quest as the migration tooling layer and Microsoft 365 and Entra ID as the destination. Whether a client is consolidating tenants after an acquisition, moving on-premises Active Directory workloads to Entra ID, or migrating off a legacy platform like Notes or Domino, the answer runs through the same pair of partnerships LeadThem has been building since 2005.

If you are evaluating migration partners, ask any firm you speak with how many of their engineers are Quest Certified and when they last escalated a case directly to Quest product engineering. The answers will narrow the field. Contact LeadThem to start the conversation about your project.
