Migration and Identity Staffing

LeadThem Consulting has placed migration and identity specialists since 2005. Every resource we put in front of a client has hands-on experience with Active Directory, Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), Microsoft 365, and Exchange Online migrations, using the same Quest tooling our own consulting team runs on every engagement.

When a migration project needs depth it does not have in-house, or when a client's IT organization needs an extra migration engineer for an acquisition cycle, LeadThem fills that seat with someone who can contribute from day one.

Quest Certified migration resources

All of our migration resources are Quest Certified. Quest certification requires passing product-specific training on the tools that run migrations: Quest On Demand Migration, Migrator Pro for Active Directory, and the related Quest toolset. A Quest Certified resource has been assessed by the vendor on the exact toolset your migration will run on.

Most staffing firms cannot make this claim. It takes a working relationship with Quest, the kind LeadThem has maintained since 2005, to have Quest Certified contractors in regular circulation.

Staffing models

LeadThem places migration staff in two primary models.

Project staffing. A fixed-term engagement tied to a migration project or workstream. Common for acquisitions, divestitures, and consolidation programs with a defined scope and end date. The resource works inside your team, on your timeline, for the duration of the project.

Contract-to-hire. A trial engagement that converts to a permanent hire if the fit is right. This model works for clients building an internal migration or identity practice and wanting to evaluate a resource before making a full-time offer.

We scope each placement by the technical requirements of the role, not by a rate card. A Quest On Demand Migration operator on a tenant-to-tenant project carries different requirements than an Entra ID architect on a hybrid identity buildout, and we source accordingly.
