Quest Active Roles is the identity-lifecycle component of Quest Identity Security and Resilience, the protection-focused solution within the Quest Security Management Platform. It handles least-privilege delegation across hybrid Active Directory and Entra ID, drives automated provisioning and deprovisioning, and keeps a full change audit trail for every action it takes. LeadThem Consulting has run Active Roles in client environments since 2005, and we deliver the training program that turns the product documentation into operating fluency.
Four courses are offered. Each is available as live instructor-led training (ILT) or as self-paced student-led training (SLT) through the virtual training center.

Need Active Roles run as an ongoing service?
Standing up Active Roles is one decision; operating it well over years is another. LeadThem delivers Active Roles as part of an Identity Security and Resilience managed engagement, with the same team that wrote the training. All of our resources are Quest Certified. See our Identity Recovery and Resilience managed service or contact us to scope the engagement.
Why train with the LeadThem network
- Quest Software partner since 2005. LeadThem-affiliated training has run alongside the Quest identity products for the entire Active Roles lifespan.
- Hands-on, not theoretical. Every ILT and SLT class includes lab time in a working virtual training environment.
- Trained by people who run the product in production. Instructors are practicing consultants who deliver Active Roles engagements for real clients.
- Direct line to deployment help. Students who finish a class and decide they want LeadThem to run the platform can reach the engagement team directly.
